Space Design for Co-Creation Research Program
Joint research with DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.
Toward a future of air and space design that is safe and comfortable for everyone
Joint research with DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.
- Air and space design for people
- Creating air and space that are safe and secure
- Building sensing infrastructure and data distribution infrastructure systems
MISSION
The University of Tokyo and DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD. are working to solve complex social issues
and create new businesses by generating innovation around the "added value of air," an
increasingly important factor in the future society, through joint research aimed at
developing future technologies. *
The Space Design for Co-Creation Research Program crosses disciplinary boundaries, such as information
technology and architecture, to assess air quality from physical and psychological environmental
perspectives and to explore the management and design of facilities that make future predictions
and decisions based on data. We aim to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone by
developing cutting-edge mechanisms that take advantage of online and offline characteristics. Furthermore,
we will engage in research and human resource development to create new lifestyles With/After COVID-19.
